HOW TO SOLVE X & Y LINEAR EQUATION PROBLEMS???
Let
us consider this following equation
8x+5y=9
3x+2y=4
Solving
this on traditional method will take more time… so here, we are solving it in cross
multiplication method..
For
this, 1st check whether the equation is in the correct order..
Eg
It
must be in
Ax+By=c1…..(1)
Dx+Ey=c2…..(2) here, a,b,c1,d,e,c2 are any numbers..
Then
2nd step is taking coefficient of y from equation 2 is necessary..
always start with that number.
Ax+By=c1
Dx+Ey=c2
for
getting numerator part first consider this highlighted part and start with E,
ie. Coefficient of y in 2nd equation
And
subtract those terms…
E*C1
– C2*B this
is numerator part.
For
getting denominator part
Ax+By=c1…..(1)
Dx+Ey=c2…..(2)
Consider this highlighted part & again start with E i.e. Coefficient of y in 2nd equation.
And
subtract those terms
E*A
– D*B this
denominator part
Numerator
part / denominator part
E*C1
– C2*B/ E*A – D*B
Solving
this we will be getting X value then substituting in either (1) or (2)
will get Y value.
Let's
solve it with real time problem…
8x+5y=9
……(1)
3x+2y=4
……(2)
Numerator
part
2*9
– 4*5 = -2
Denominator
part
2*8
– 3*5 = 1
=
-2/1 we will get the value of X as -2
X=-2
substituting this value in either (1) or (2) to get the value of Y= 5
